Inscribed loutrophoros base found in 1955 and 1957 in the Sanctuary of the Nymphe in fragments and pieced together.

The inscription is carved on the base’s outer circumference which maintains decoration of black and red coloured bands. The inscription is dedicatory and reads ΕΡΟΣ : ΝΥΜΦΕΣ, meaning that the vessel was sacred and in the possession of the Nymph.
